Ultrasonic planetary ball mills are mainly used for mixing and fine grinding of materials with high particle size requirements, and for materials that would sink to the bottom, agglomerate, stick to the wall, or agglomerate when using traditional ball mills.

Ultrasonic ball mills are ideal equipment for scientific research institutions, colleges and universities, and corporate laboratories to obtain research samples (four samples can be obtained simultaneously in each experiment). Equipped with a vacuum ball mill, samples can be ground under vacuum.

Working Principle

Four ball mills are installed on a turntable. When the turntable rotates, the ball mills revolve around the main disk axis and rotate in the opposite direction around their own axis in a planetary manner. The grinding balls and materials in the mill collide, shear and rub against each other during high-speed movement, achieving the purpose of crushing, grinding, mixing and dispersing materials. At the same time, ultrasonic equipment (composed of ultrasonic generator and ultrasonic transducer) is configured. The ultrasonic equipment is converted to the grinding tank through the conductive slip ring, so that the inner wall of the grinding tank can continuously generate ultrasonic mechanical oscillation, effectively solving the problems of sinking, agglomeration, wall adhesion and agglomeration of materials in the grinding tank of the traditional planetary ball mill during grinding. At present, this equipment can only be used in the wet grinding state. Various solid particles, suspensions and pastes with different grinding particle sizes and different materials can be ground to nanometers.
