Counting of micro-colonies: Suitable for rapid counting of micro-colonies with a diameter of 0.1mm-0.5mm.

3M (PetriFilm™) one-click counting: Rapid counting of colonies growing on 3M PetriFilm™ plates.

Black grid (CompactDry™) one-click counting: Rapid counting of colonies growing on black grid plates.

Grid filter membrane (RIDA™) one-click counting: Rapid counting of colonies growing on filter membrane plates.

Counting of colonies with similar background color: Suitable for rapid counting of colonies whose color is similar to the culture medium.

Counting of large colonies: Suitable for rapid counting of colonies with a diameter greater than 2mm.

Counting of single-color colonies: Select one color from single-color or multi-color colonies for rapid counting.

Counting of multi-color colonies: Multiple clicks on target colonies automatically extract the corresponding color, automatically segmenting all colonies of the same color within the selected area. Suitable for counting specific color colonies in multi-color samples.

5) Light Source Management

This series of automatic colony counters is equipped with a flexible upper and lower dual light source system. Users can freely adjust the light source with a knob to obtain the best imaging effect according to different types of petri dishes, colony characteristics, and background conditions. Specific functions include:

Independent control: The upper and lower light sources can be turned on or off independently using knobs.

Brightness adjustment: The brightness of each light source can be freely adjusted to meet the needs of different contrast levels.

Mode switching: Users can freely switch between various lighting modes, such as "upper light only," "lower light only," and "upper and lower lights on simultaneously."

6) Automatic Calibration

The instrument is precisely calibrated at the factory. Under normal circumstances, the system can automatically complete the calibration based on preset camera parameters (such as camera model, lens focal length, working distance, etc.). Users do not need to perform any additional operations during daily use; the software can directly perform accurate size measurements, ensuring consistency and efficiency of the results.
